Dreams

We went to such a great place yesterday. I went with the conference Children's Ministries Council to tour the Dream Center in Los Angeles.
What is really cool is that Pastor Bud, the tour guide, must have said, "It's all about relationship," about 8 times. Everything they do from their campus is designed to meet the needs of people, heal their hurts, and develop a relationship with them that will ultimately provide the opportunity to talk about salvation.
What shocks me is that I know the theory, but I've gotten so used to what is comfortable. The result is that I'm into programming instead of relationship building. That said, I know I'm being over-critical of myself, but being at the Dream Center inspires me to be so much more!
So, we'll see what we can doto make a real difference in our community. Now I'm praying that God will show me a clear need this week as I try to vision in His way.
