Almost missed it.

Well, we had a busy day around here. So busy that I almost missed my post for the day! Aaack! We wouldn't want to do that, would we.
I love, love, love having a little boy. He's such a cutie pie I really enjoyed loving on him today. He helps put things in perspective. Even when I'm sad, he smiles and smiles at me. What a pleasure it is to spend time with him and see his sweet smile.
Ok, enough sappy-ness.
I've been dreaming about how I can change my house to be more homey and more valuable at the same time. The challenge is - lackamoola.
I suppose that is the same problem most people have, but I will make my list regardless.
1. Redo the bathrooms.
2. Build a room on the back.
3. Create a prayer garden.
4. Put in a water feature and built-in bbq.
5. Finish the cabinets in the kitchen.
6. Renovate the master bedroom.
7. Update the fireplace.
8. Install wood flooring in the lounge, dining room, and hallway.
9. Take out half walls in entry way.
10. Replace front doors.
11. Redo walkway and front entrance.

So, if you have any suggestions about how to make some extra money to be used for home improvements, send them our way. Here's a question for you? What's next on your wish list for your abode?

I totally understand you there! SO much to do and so little moola! Mine would be the wood floors in the boys' bedrooms. The carpet in their rooms is TERRIBLE. WE will see when this can be accomplished.

My next goal is to get Georgia O'keefe's "Red Poppy" to put on our fireplace. Now there is something with 'scope for imagination!'.

And grass in the backyard...
