Kiddo's been working on rhyming words. It's quite funny actually. Out of the blue she'll say something like, "Hi, bye, that's a rhyme. Mommy, hi, bye, it's a rhyme isn't it, Mommy?" Either I'll agree and be rewarded with a repeat, or I'll be daydreaming and be rewarded with a repeat anyway. It's quite a treat really. :) Seriously, it's fun to hear her figure it out. Today, the conversation involved me talking to her about mad, sad, glad and it didn't rhyme. Or so she said. Hee hee. I think we still have some more work to do.
Anyhow, she is my ray of sunshine which only makes me more sad when I spend a major portion of the day either really sad or inexplicably mad. My poor kiddo has to deal with a mommy with baby blues and stress. I wish I could find a fix for this.
I'm grateful for so many things. Particularly my kids. I really don't have a reason for being mad or sad and yet I am. Futz nuggets!

we're doing rhyming in class lately . . . well word families and rhymes then making poems. :)
It's very cute when they catch on you think, and then they do something like that. :)
baby blues, stress . . . thank God kids are so resilient, and that you have prayer warriors :)
