NaBloPoMo

November is National Blog Post Month for those who don't know. The point is to try and blog at least once a day. So, we shall attempt that. Last year I think I lasted all of 5 days. This year probably won't be much better, but we'll try. The month looks hectic already.
So, here's an update so that eventhough I'm a day late, I have two posts by November 2 :)

We all went to VA. Hubby left to go to work and the kids and I stayed. We got totally spoiled by the grandparents. Everything from much holding and cuddling (mostly for Baby Boy), to a tea party and playing cook all the time (Kiddo), to shopping, chatting, and sleeping in (The Mama). We had a wonderful time which we wished had lasted longer. We can't wait to go back!

Dad flew home with the kids and I so I didn't have to do it alone. (Yes, I know I'm a chicken.) I purchased a stroller in anticipation. I LOVE MY STROLLER! I believe my kids do too. Both kids can ride and with a little help from dad and Becky, I know the luggage can too. The trip is a breeze - - until we get to security, but that would difficult no matter what.
So, we came home, went to church and had lunch at Grammy's house. Took a field trip to see the Martin Mars (one of 2 or 3 still in existence) at Lake Elsinore because it's a cool airplane that can scoop water out of the lake to dump on the fire!
Sunday saw us shopping up a storm - just the girls and Baby Boy.
On Monday I was mourning the loss of my maternity leave and Hubby decided I make one last trip and keep a promise to a friend. After a couple of quick phone calls and hurriedly packing, the kids and I went to catch a flight to Portland, Oregon. We visited good friends and the kids had a great time playing with friends and hanging out in the play room.
Thanks for being such good sports, Suzanne and Josh!
I'll save the pics for tomorrow - that way I'll have a post already! Yay me and my sneaky self!
