I unpacked my christmas cards today. Makes me wonder how these traditions get started. However, I think it's a great way to keep up to date with people you're not in the same area with. I've been reading on "Two Peas" that people hate reading form letters. Is this true for you?
Personally, I like the letters more than the cards. I like getting the news of the last year and hearing what each family is important to share. I love getting them in mail and seeing how the kids have grown.
So, in the end, I don't care how it started or why it continues. I really don't mind doing the Christmas cards so long as we exchange.

I love doing the cards and getting them too. It's fun to see what has happened over the past year.
I promise I'll try! This year is the first time that I really have no IDEA how I'll have time to get the letter written, the pics printed, the envelopes addressed, etc. How about email? Will that count? hehe
Of course it counts! I got the nicest email card/letter from the Kritzingers and am totally converted.
