See how I haven't posted since my vacation? That's what my life has felt like. Totally busy with no time to think. All of the last six weeks, with the exception of July 19-26 which was slightly better. So, here's what's been up in our lives since June 19 in bullet points, of course!
- Returned from VA to do final planning and meetings for VBS.
- Had my house professionally cleaned. (Thank you, sis, mom, and dad!)
- Took a road trip for 4th of July weekend to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, and Monument Valley (in an RV with too many people.)
- Helped my sister finish her intensive class at LSU.
- Ate, slept, and dreamed VBS finalization. Found out my preschool director wasn't going to be around for VBS (ack!)
- Went to the Dentist
- Took Kiddo to the Dentist, Doctor, and got shots for school
- Celebrated Baby Boy's 2 new teeth
- Did VBS-Power Lab (God blessed in amazing ways!)
- Preached for VBS Sabbath
- Packed for 3 people for 5 days in two little bags (in 25 minutes no less)
- Flew to Honolulu, Hawaii (First time ever!)
- Spent 2 days in a hotel room while my mom and sis spent their days in the hospital (mom in bed, Sis looking out for her.)
- Hung out around Oahu for 5 days (Kiddo went swimming with dolpins for Bubby's birthday, Bubby and I went snorkeling in Hanauma Bay - awesome!)
- Came home on stand-by (yay! I was really scared we'd have trouble getting home.)
- Found out my Senior Pastor is leaving us to go to the conference.
- Took Kiddo to the dentist for fillings. (Ick)
Now, I just need to take care of the rest of my life. Like strategic planning for the next year. Shopping for school clothes and lunch supplies. Oh, and building a workable family structure for our lives which will now include school! Yay! Kiddo is excited and just waiting to start. I'm a little sad but also excited about spending a little time alone with Baby Boy. He would be excited too, if he knew what that meant, I think.
Enough for today, so Happy Sabbath!

Okay... you are one busy cookie, but I am glad to see that you are still in the land of the living!
Alf Birch is one of our head pastors... says that you guys are good family friends. Small world huh?
jealous of your time in hawaii... glad you got the chance to go!
Thanks Lissette and Suzanne! Yes, it is a small world. We had a great time in Hawaii and Kiddo will absolutely love school!
