Travelling

We left CA on Wednesday night. The plan was to catch a direct flight to Orlando, see Grandma Craig, who's not doing too well, and then go on to Grandma and Grandpa's. Kiddo and Baby Boy would sleep all the way, we planned. Well, as is wont to happen when you fly standby, we didn't get on the flight we planned, we ended up in Jacksonville, FL and had to drive to Orlando. The kids didn't sleep the whole way. It was a VERY long day!
We got there safely, slept, talked, swam, and ate. When all was said and done, we left for the airport and Grandpa and Grandma's house. We had a great time in Florida although it was short, it was very sweet. We got to see pictures of Grandma Craig's mom and dad and her in-laws.
So, now we're at Grandma and Grandpa's and kiddo thinks this is her very own heaven. Tea parties, cooking, games, all kinds of fun with so many people to play with.
I'll tell you what though, travelling with two small children, only carry-on luggage, and trying to get through TSA security in a timely manner is certainly not for the faint of heart! It was much, much easier to get through security in FL with Hubby in uniform.
We're on a travelling expedition and we're having fun.
