Your wish is my command . . .
Well, at least this one is. We've been working this schedule thing. Some days are better than others. I suppose the hardest part is the constant change. A typical day involves us getting up and getting school, all three of us. Kiddo goes to class and for at least two days each week, Baby Boy and I walk further down to go do worship in another classroom. Work comes next and a bit of lunch. More work, pick Kiddo up and visit a couple of classrooms to make appointments for next week and home for an hour. A couple of days a week we go to gymnastics, but either way we start supper at about 5 and do some homework (at least on the days we don't have early meetings)and then eat and get ready for bed. Ideally, the kids go to bed and I do more work, either at home or in meetings.
The big thing in our lives right now is that we are looking for a Senior Pastor for our church. This means that all the associates have a bit more on their plates and the church leadership is eager to meet a bit more regularly to keep on top of everything. It's really nice to feel the support of wise people around you when so much is in flux.
However, for our family it's just another thing to add into the schedule, especially when Hubby is splitting his time between Palm Springs, Riverside, and Camarillo. So, a good schedule is really important at this time of our lives and also almost impossible. We try to do the best we can with what we have, but honestly, I think I'm more tired now than I've ever been. As long as we take it one day at a time, anything can be overcome, I suppose.
So, if you're so motivated, please pray for us and our church. We could sure use all the help we can get.
